Kix is doing very well and has settled in at the house. She is still shy when taken away from the house but has done well at the 3 M&G's that she has been to. She is the sweetest little thing and loves to play in the yard with her stuffies. She is almost perfect accept for the shyness. She just loves to eat treats or her meal.
At the M&G's she mainly stands like a little statue but does loosen up some after a while. She loves to have you sratch behind her ears anf generally just love on her. She will make a good little buddy but it will take some time for her to get comfortable with any new situation.
I would love to know more about Kix. We are looking to get a sister for our Weimaraner and we think a grey hound would be a great fit. We are currently in Navarre Fl. and relocate to Nashville March 1. I am just learning about grey hounds and the adoption process so any advice or help you can give would be fabulous. Thanks, Sharon
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy, We met at the winter gathering. I wanted to check in on Kix again. I think she would fit in our home quite nicely. When we first got Jesse Manuto in Florida, he was very very shy. He wouldn't even look at you. I think we could do wonders with Kix. Would you consider a home visit? Please keep in touch.
